OTTAWA – Sheila Guenther landed three assignments for this summer as Swimming Canada announced today its officials list for the major events this summer.

The big events for the Canadian swimming officials are of course the 2015 Pan Am Games and Parapan Am Games, which will take place from July 8-23 and August 7-15 in Toronto.

For the Pan Am Games, veteran Bill Hogan is the chair of the event and will be joined by Dan Thompson, Cynthia Pincott, Jackie Snodgrass, Joan Butler, Marguerite Middleton, Pierre Cloutier, Robert Filion and Suzanne Paulins.

The Swimming Canada officials for the Parapan Ams are Guenther, Diane Lefebvre, Lockie Lister and Glennis Mossey.

Lyne Laprade will officiate at the FINA World Championships in Kazan, Russia July 27 to August 9 as will Filion at the FINA World Junior Championships set for August 25-20 in Singapore.

Guenther and Jocelyne McLean will travel to Glasgow for the IPC Swimming World Championships July 13-19. Additional international assignments have been added for Guenther as a technical delegate at the Paranacionales Games in Venezuela and for McLean, also as a technical delegate at the Mexican Para-swimming Open in Mexico.
